Each fall season, Vermont's Green Mountain range is gradually transformed into a vibrant mixture of yellows, reds and light brown, as chlorophyll pigment is lost from the leafs of the enveloping stands of deciduous trees. It's a magical time of the year, albeit short-lasting.
