A family of River Otters played and fished for about 30 minutes along the LaPlatte River in Shelburne, VT. I was able to drift behind in a kayak while watching their antics. This photo was shot with a 600 mm Nikkor lens, allowing me to stay a safe distance from them. Can you see the Dace in this youngster's mouth ?
