"First Light"

There is a time in the woods when the leaves and grass turn the same color. A fleeting moment in fall. When the sun first breaks the horizon, it too matches that color. I was lucky to be in the woods when it all lined up and a big double throat patch buck stood in a clearing, also matching that fleeting color scheme of Autumn.
