"Strutters And Hens"

These four eastern wild turkeys were seen near Wausau, located in Marathon County, Wisconsin. When they initially came in, the hens were not having anything to do with the toms. After about 15 minutes, there was a change in the mood of the hens. They came back to these two strutters. Then one of the hens started to circle one of the toms, which is typical of breeding behavior, but that did not happen on this morning.
