"Sunset over Turkey Woods"

I took this photo looking into a stretch of turkey woods in the Ouachita National Forest of Arkansas the night before the 2025 spring turkey opener. Although I didn't harvest a bird that season, the forest sunset was a beautiful omen for the amazing hunt I would have those handful of days in April and May. Gobbling toms all around me! I just couldn't make it happen.
