Can I have a chapter portal account and not a nwtf.org account?

Yes and no... You can now create an account inside of the chapter portal, but in the background that account is linked to a nwtf.org account in the nwtf.org account area. This is why when you create an account, we ask that you link it to a membership if one exists. All of our accounts MUST be linked to an active contact in the new system. If you are not a member, we can create a contact for non-members, but if you are gaining access to the chapter portal, you are probably affiliated with your local chapter and will more than likely be a member. Why do you keep asking for my cellphone number?

Through multiple interactions with members and chapter volunteers we have seen the struggle some people have when it comes to logging into their account. People forget passwords frequently and do not always get the email reset instructions via email for one reason or another. To solve that problem we have done a few things. We have extended the time that you will remain logged in through the use of "website cookies" and now allow our users to bypass passwords by receiving a text message with a 6 digit code. This will help people who are struggling with logins and relieve some of the frustrations we are seeing from chapter volunteers. Having your cellphone number allows us to make logging in easier for you. We do not share your number with spammers, we just use it for logins. Plain and simple!

My Chapter Access is not Showing up

Usually this could be one of a few different reasons. Either your Regional Director has not granted access to your email address, or the email address that the regional director had for you was incorrectly entered. Access to the Chapter Portal is granted to the email address you have an account with. If you still are not seeing access, please reach out using the "Get Help" option at the bottom of any of the pages on this website

Reset password is not working

If your gave an email address to your regional director that you do not have access to then you may experience problems with a password reset link. Also, there are times where users mark our emails as spam. Without going into a ton of details about how email works, this "blacklists" our email and prevents our emails from being received by some users. The best way to overcome this is by entering a cellphone. Password reset codes are sent by text message as well when they are requested.
